Conundrum

There is something you don't know that

I know you don't know. It is

important (as so many things we don't

know are). Must I tell you? After all, who

am I? I am tired, and I don't know how

you will respond to this important

to you unknown thing. Will you take it

out on me? Excuses, excuses—

doing nothing while the world courses

along imagined paths with untold unknowns

collecting, dwindling, drying up in

memory's void…
